Wilder Wines Opens New Shop and Wine Bar in Downtown Burlington
Open Friday, May 16 at 210 College Street
BURLINGTON, Vt. — May 15, 2025 — Wilder Wines, Burlington’s beloved natural wine shop, is opening the doors to its new and expanded home at 210 College Street on Friday, May 16. The fresh space marks a new chapter for the woman-owned business, adding a relaxed European-style wine bar alongside an even wider selection of natural wines at all price points from around the world.
Guests can browse expanded shelves featuring thoughtfully sourced wines from Vermont to Japan, then grab a chair at the new 25-seat bar to enjoy wines by the glass, affordable bottles with friends, and small snacks from local producers. The new location is conveniently situated in the heart of Burlington’s downtown, next to Common Deer and just steps from the bustling Church Street Marketplace.
“This space is really about creating more room for people to discover something new, to ask questions, or to just slow down and enjoy an affordable glass of wine after work,” said Sipha Lam, founder and owner of Wilder Wines. “As a Vietnamese immigrant who grew up in Burlington, this project has been a labor of love and a longtime dream of mine. I’m proud to keep growing this business downtown and continuing to serve the community I grew up alongside.”

During opening weekend, guests are invited to stop by for regular service, enjoy a Kalimotxo, and attend a special meet-the-maker tasting with Coco Farm & Winery, a Japanese natural wine producer based in Ashikaga, Tochigi Prefecture. The tasting will be held on Saturday, May 17 from 4 PM to 6 PM. No reservations are required—just stop by and join in!
Wilder Wines will be open daily and continues to offer its Wilder Wine Club, a curated 2-3 bottle membership featuring low-intervention wines from small, sustainable producers.
